Constitution Day Celebration at the Chippewa County Courthouse & LSSU

This inaugural event was brought to Chippewa County by League of Women Voters of E.U.P. and 4-H. Judges, magistrates, attorneys, and other guest speakers spoke about the Chippewa County Courthouse's long history, the U.S. Constitution, and the importance of safe guarding the Bill of Rights. Students and parents also learned about a U.S. Supreme Court case specific to students' rights. Everyone left the event with a pocket constitution, which were provided by former MI Representative Frank Foster and the League of Women Voters of E.U.P.
